Lent begins on Ash Wednesday and ends as we begin the Easter Triduum. We know the rules about abstaining from meat on Ash Wednesday and all Fridays of Lent. Have you ever thought about why we abstain from meat? We are called to give something up for Lent. What will you give up this year? Will it be the same thing as every other year? Do you know why we even have a season of Lent? In this presentation Fr. Jeff helps bring meaning to our Lenten customs.
Here are the slides for this presentation.
